  SPRING BREAK CRUISE

MARCH 27 - APRIL 3, 2005

A NEW FLAGSHIP

MEDITERRANEA

The finest designers and architects spared neither effort nor expense in creating the Costa Mediterranea -- a ship inspired by the 17th & 18th century noble Italian palazzos of Venice, Lake Como, Sicily, Siena and the Langhe wine region.

From the Piazza Casanova evoking the atmosphere of a typical Venetian living room to the stylish, ultra elegant Roero Wine Bar and the bustling Grand Canal Casino to the Ristorante degli Argentieri inspired by a stately Sicilian home, the Costa Mediterranea is a palazzo on the sea.

Fort Lauderdale

Greater Fort Lauderdale is a place of contrasts, where modest beach hotels vie with elegant seaside resorts. What to do with your carefree days in this sun-drenched paradise? You might watch open-mouthed as a Seminole Indian wrestles an alligator into submission at the in-city Seminole Reservation. Or immerse yourself in the enormous Swimming Hall of Fame Olympic swimming complex frequented by local young Olympians-to-be. Or charter a deep-sea fishing boat. Or maybe just hop a water taxi and see where you end up.

St. John - U.S. Virgin Islands

Two thirds of St. John is a U.S. National Park, and here you see what the world is like when nature takes care of itself. Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park volunteers staff an information kiosk here.

Spend day after day on beach after beach, each with its own panoramic view. Let a friendly mongoose lead you along a woodland trail. Many of them end on a plateau high in the sky, offering panoramic views of white beaches, emerald cays, and turquoise waters.

Catalina Island - Dominican Republic

Discovered by Christopher Columbus, it has remained uninhabited to this day, untainted by the fast-paced society that so many are all too accustomed to.. Only 9.6 square km, Catalina is perfect for a day of swimming, hiking and exploring. The entire island is formed out of coral stone and has three overlapping plateaus. The highest elevation is 60 feet above sea level!

Discover the hidden beauty of the powdery white beaches and shallow waters of Catalina Island. Enjoy unlimited views as you lounge on the beaches with a Pine Colada in hand.
