About Us : We are a Canadian couple in our mid fifties who enjoy traveling to the DR. This is our fifth trip here, second time to the north coast, the other three times to Punta Cana.     The Barceló Bávaro Golf is one of the 5 hotels which make up the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort, the only hotel complex situated on Playa Bávaro, in the Punta Cana region in the east of the Dominican Republic.     This was our first visit to the Riviera Maya, and our first stay at an all-inclusive (AI) resort. My sister and brother-in-law had visited the Riviera and their trip report made this a must-do for us.     We got back last Friday and I am still trying to get back into my normal groove. Here are my pictures from Iberostar Cozumel and some explaination. Another famous hot spot, Coconuts. It is the highest point on the island. The views are amazing and the food is awesome. We had shrimp quesadillas, beef tacos, fajitas, and Dos Equis! The sound of the ocean and the ambient background music + the view and the breeze…….. Ahhh……

    Iberostar Tucan Resort Review - 11-2006

    We just got back from the Iberostar Tucan and we had a wonderful time once again. The 6 of us never stopped. I never even had a chance to get together with Mike & Love but did meet her at one of the shows. Thanks for introducing yourself. If anyone wants a good tour you must do the Sacred Blue Tour. We book our trips at the Olympus Tour booth in the lobby. We also had a wonderful dinner at Karens in Playa del Carmen. The people at the Tucan could not be any nicer and our son’s and their future wifes just had a great time. Can’t wait to go back.
